**Key Responsibilities**:

- Measure, cut, and shape wood, plywood, and other materials to meet project specifications.
- Construct and install structures, frameworks, partitions, and fixtures.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical plans.
- Ensure that all work complies with safety standards and building codes.
- Use hand and power tools efficiently and safely.
- Repair or replace damaged wood and structures as needed.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Collaborate with other team members and contractors to complete projects on time.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a Carpenter or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques and tools.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Excellent attention to detail and quality craftsmanship.
- Good physical condition and strength to handle manual labor.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High school diploma or equivalent; trade certification is a plus.
- Access to own vehicle and a valid driver’s license

**Work Conditions**:
This role may require you to work in all weather conditions, inside and outside. Locations of work may vary within the radius of your chosen location: Vancouver, Toronto, Victoria (BC) or Kelowna (BC). Sourcing your own means of transportation to and from your working location will be required (the majority of our work-force use public transit with no issues)

We schedule our workers on a 40 hour per week basis (Monday-Friday), with pay days falling bi-weekly on a Friday. Shift times may vary, however our usual shift is 7:30am-3:30pm (8 hours). Overtime may be required on occasion and will be paid within the provincial employee pay legislation guidelines.
