Braemar College is seeking enthusiastic and knowledgeable tutors to provide academic support to Grade 11 and 12 students. The tutors will work with our students to enhance their understanding of course material, improve their study skills, and prepare for exams. This role involves providing tutoring sessions 2 to 4 times a week after school. (4:00pm to 6:00pm)

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions in Physics and Computer Science
- Assist students with homework assignments, projects, and exam preparation.
- Develop and implement individualized tutoring plans based on each student's needs and goals.
- Help students develop effective study habits and organizational skills.
- Encourage critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Monitor and assess students’ progress and provide regular feedback to students and parents.
- Communicate effectively with parents, teachers, and school staff regarding student progress and any concerns.

**Qualifications**:

- University students or recent graduate in related areas.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, adaptability, and a positive attitude.
- Ability to motivate and inspire students.

**Working Conditions**:

- Flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, based on student needs.
- Tutoring sessions will take place at the school, (229 college St. Toronto)

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual

Pay: $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 4 - 6 per week
