FM Audio Video is looking for a responsible, loyal & hardworking individual that has a passion for technology. This position will assist in the installation of custom Home Theaters, Smart Home Lighting systems, Motorized Shades, Surveillance Camera systems and a variety of indoor & outdoor audio systems. The position will require the ability to work independently or in a team, demonstrate a high level of customer service, professionalism, all with the goal to create customers for life.

Main responsibilities:

- Installing and configuring A/V hardware and software components.
- Configuring basic networks & WiFi systems
- Installation of Surveillance Cameras, NVR's
- Mounting of TV's
- Installation of structured cabling to include pulling, terminating, and testing Cat 6, RG6, HDMI, RCA, Speaker cables 8 Ohm and 70Volt
- Climb ladder’s, operate power tool’s & motorized lifts
- Great communications skills and high ethical standards.
- Maintain and report accurate records of hours and materials used
- Train the customer on system use and how to obtain system maintenance if needed

**Requirements**:

- Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle
- Able to work at heights and in confined spaces
- Ability to use hand and power tools in a safe and efficient manner
- Must be able to lift 50+ lbs.
- Must be able to pass a criminal record check
- Solid written and verbal communication skills

Pay: $20.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 50 per week

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Brantford, ON N3R 6S8: reliably commute or be willing to relocate with an employer-provided relocation package (required)
