**Position Title: Shop Assistant**

**Company**: System Audio Video Ltd.

**Location**: North Vancouver

**Schedule**: Part-time, Tuesday to Thursday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm

**Contract Duration**: Temporary with potential for extension or permanent employment.

Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, the Warehouse Worker will undertake various tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our warehouse facility. Previous warehouse experience is preferred.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Lift objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Pick and pack orders accurately and in a timely manner.
- Receive inventory, process packing slips, and match them with purchase orders.
- Maintain the accuracy of bin locations.
- Bin Management. Ensure accuracy of all bin locations.
- Prepare orders by processing requests; pulling materials; packing totes; placing orders in staging area for pick up or loading and prepping work vans.
- Organize and replenish inventory within the warehouse and company vehicles.
- Inspect goods for any signs of damage.
- Complete all necessary documentation accurately and on time.
- Utilize tools such as carts, hand trucks, and dollies as required.
- Assist technicians on job sites when needed.

**Qualifications**:

- Fluency in spoken, written, and reading English.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing workloads.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic computer skills preferred.
- Valid driver's license with a clear driving record.

**Expectations**:

- Think critically and offer suggestions for workflow improvement.
- Complete tasks thoroughly and provide regular updates on progress.
- Seek clarification and assistance when needed.

**Note**: International applicants without valid work permits and those not currently residing in Canada will not be considered for this position.

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 per week

Shift:

- 8 hour shift

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Experience**:

- sales: 1 year (preferred)
- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Serving It Right (preferred)
