**Full Job Description**

Canadian Flatbeds is a Canadian owned, customer oriented, family oriented, and one of the fastest growing transportation companies. We are currently seeking experienced and reliable Owner-Operators with a minimum of two years of AZ verifiable experience, to join our team. As an Owner-Operator, you will play crucial role in the transportation of rolltites, and open trailer loads to various destinations in the United States.

**Responsibilities**:

- Transport Open Trailer & Rolltite loads from Canada to the US in east or mid-west
- Ensure the safe and timely delivery of goods.
- Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle
- Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment
- Adhere to all safety regulations and traffic laws
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including logbooks, distance travelled, fuel consumption and delivery documentation
- Ensure cargo is secured properly in accordance with safety requirements and follow safety procedures for transporting dangerous goods

**Requirements and Skills**
- Two plus years of A-Z experience
- Valid CDL (commercial driver’s license) with clean driving record
- Own a reliable and well-maintained tractor (truck) equipped for open trailer transportation
- Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations
- Must be reliable, flexible, organized and a team player
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions on the road

**Benefits**:

- Competitive pay rates - we pay 70 percent of the gross and various expenses paid by the company
- No deductions for plates or insurance
- Get up to 30 cents off on a gallon of fuel if you use company provided fuel card
- Flexible schedule and the ability to choose your routes
