Waitress/waiter

WE'RE HIRING

**Responsibilities**:

- Seating and greeting guest.
- Taking drink and food orders.
- Answering guest menu questions.
- Adhering to allergy/dietary concerns from guests.
- Running drink and food orders to your tables and co-workers tables.
- Ringing-in order on a POS system.
- Cleaning and re-setting tables.
- Teamwork all day everyday.
- Ensuring guests have any and all items while dining (napkins, cultery etc.)
- Communicating with kitchen and managers to ensure smooth guest experience.
- Restaurant cleanliness.
- Manage bills and payment with debit and cash.
- Opening and closing duties.
- Supply stocking.

Requirments:

- Familar with a POS system.
- Posses a vaild Smart Serve Certification from the Ontario government.
- 1+ years experience in food service industry.

Must be able to:

- Confidentally communicate with guests.
- Communicate to other staff and managers.
- Take direction from a large management team.
- Work as a team with other servers, bartenders, and bussers.
- Work well under pressure in a busy environment.
- Multi-tasking skills.
- Evening and weekend availibility is a must.
- Working late nights availibility.

Please note that this is a temporary, summer employment. Hours may vary but will most likely be working 25-35 hours a week, more if wanted. Open availability is a MUST on the weekends and evenings.
