**The Opportunity**

We are looking for a **Fundraising Coordinator** to support our Community and Corporate Partnerships team. Reporting to the Director and as a key member of the Community Initiatives & Events (CI) Department, this role is responsible for providing administrative support and assistance to the Community and Corporate Partnerships team, working collaboratively to sustain and inspire support from current donors, enhance stewardship activities, and engage prospective donors. This portfolio includes Children’s Miracle Network (CMN), Canada’s Children’s Hospital Foundations (CCHF), Event-based Partnerships, Corporate donors, and other CI initiatives.

Contributing to the achievement of the Alberta Children’s Hospital Foundation’s (ACHF) strategic objectives and priorities, the Fundraising Coordinator will be responsible for providing assistance and support to both the Director and Senior Associate (Program Director) in managing CMN/CCHF partner accounts and campaigns. This includes providing administrative assistance, support coordinating campaigns and events, and working collaboratively to inspire sustained and future support for the ACHF as well as working on special projects as assigned within the corporate partner portfolio. The Fundraising Coordinator will also facilitate and lead small national partnerships. (CMN/CCHF accounts under $50k revenue). Attendance at events scheduled in the evening and on weekends is required along with travel within Southern Alberta.

**This is a temporary, full-time, term position for eighteen (18) months with the possibility of extension.**

**Key Responsibilities**

**As the **Fundraising Coordinator**, key responsibilities include**:

- Completion of assigned administrative and coordination activities in support of corporate partners, CMN/CCHF partner campaigns and initiatives, and partnership development. This may include coordination and execution of partner campaigns, donor stewardship calls/plans, attending meetings and visiting retail locations, providing ACHF information, reporting, and support to national partners, corporate employee engagement tools, and other project coordination all while delivering high-level service to donors, sponsors, and partners.
- Supporting the Director with donor stewardship, database entries, and other administrative tasks.
- Providing logístical support for donor events (lunch and learn activities, meetings, celebrations, virtual events etc.); supporting ACHF signature events and major initiatives as required.
- Updating campaign and initiative calendars including social media planners and website information and listings.
- Maintaining and updating pertinent information on donors, contacts, and prospects into Raiser’s Edge (RE) database.
- Developing agendas and meeting actions in support of internal and external meetings.
- Working collaboratively with other departments to find engagement opportunities for donors (major gifts, gifts in kind or sponsorships).
- Building knowledge and understanding of the Foundation and our funding priorities in order to articulate the case for support of the ACHF/Alberta Children’s Hospital (ACH) and act as a well-informed ambassador at presentations, donor meetings and at recognition events.
- You have a post-secondary diploma or degree in business administration, event management, not-for-profit management, or social innovation; suitable combinations of education and experience will be considered.
- Your education is combined with at least three (3) years of relevant, administrative and/or fundraising experience. Specific experience supporting events in a not-for-profit setting would be an asset.
- You have an excellent history of building relationships within the organization as well as with donors/clients/customers. This
