Rust-proofing technician
Krown Halifax is an industry and regional leader in automotive rust-protection. We are looking for a seasonal spray technician to service customers’ vehicles. Krown is a fast-paced work environment, and we operate 50 hours/week during our busy season (now until early February)
**Responsibilities**:
- Drive vehicles in and out of our rust-proofing bay/hoist
- Spray oil-based rust protectant onto vehicles undercarriage as well as into the various body panels
- Use an electric drill to bore a hole into those body panels according to Krown diagrams
- Wash outside of vehicles and maintain the cleanliness of the interior as well.
- Clean the work environment daily and maintain the equipment
- Training will be provided
**Requirements**:
- At least a Class 5 Driver’s License
- Steel toe boots
- Must work Saturdays
- General knowledge of automobiles is an asset as well as prior experience working on, cleaning, or maintaining automobiles
Job Type
- Seasonal position
- 8 AM - 5 PM Mon - Fri, 8 AM - 4 PM on Saturdays in Oct., Nov., and Dec.
- Starting $16/hr
**Salary**: From $16.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
Ability to commute/relocate:
- HALIFAX, NS: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
