Journeyperson Pipefitters

**Job Overview**

We are recruiting **Journeyperson Pipefitters** to join our team at the BHP Potash Mine in Jansen, SK. This position is based on a 14/7 rotation and is camp-based at the Jansen Discovery Lodge.

The Journeyperson Pipefitter must have HDPE Fusing experience and will use their specialized skills and knowledge to install, maintain, and repair piping systems in a safe and efficient manner, contributing to the success of construction projects. They play a critical role in ensuring that these systems operate effectively and reliably.

**Responsibilities**
- Layout, assemble, fabricate, maintain and repair piping systems which carry water, steam, chemicals or fuel used in heating, cooling, lubricating and other processes.
- Measure, cut, thread, bend, assemble and install metal tubing, pipes, pipe sections, valves, and fittings.
- Hydrotest and install fabricated pipe spools within structural steel modular assemblies, adding designed supports as required.
- Maintain all tools, work area and equipment in a clean and orderly fashion.
- Read and interpret client and company-supplied construction fabrication drawings and specifications.
- Follow safety regulations and maintain a safe work environment.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum 5 years’ experience.
- Journeyman Certification
- Previous HDPE Fusing experience
- Familiarity with industry standards and best practices
- Must be fit-for-duty.
- Must be immediately eligible/able to work in Canada.
- Must pass a Criminal Record Check.
- Must pass pre-employment drug and alcohol test including cannabis.
