Commercial Cabinetmaker

We are looking for an experienced Cabinet Maker for our client located in Toronto. The client is in the Millwork shop and Construction business.

**Responsibilities**:

- Manufacturing high quality goods from a variety of materials including solid woods, veneers, plywood, MDF, particle board, plastic laminates
- Ability to read blueprints and shop drawings
- Measure and mark outlines on parts
- Confident operation and set up of a variety of woodworking hand tools
- Fit parts together / assemble using screws, nails / staples, glue and clamps
- Laminating wood veneer and plastic laminate to the substrate
- Install variety of cabinet hardware, including handles, drawer slides, hinges, pull-outs, locks, etc.
- Ability to operate woodworking machinery is a strong asset
- Knowledge how to work with acrylic solid surfaces is an asset
- Experience in CNC router programming (AlphaCAM) is a strong asset. In-shop training is available
- Manual dexterity required to use power and hand tools

**Location**: Toronto

**Shift**: 8 am to 5 pm (Mon - Fri)

**Pay Rate**: $24/hr. to $35/hr. (depending upon experience)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $24.00-$35.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
