Someone who is able to create and facilitate a sense of order, attractiveness and nurture a joy of learning. You have exceptional communication skills and the ability to create trust and respect between a child’s home and school. You are someone intentionally and consistently presents your best self to the children. You are also someone who enjoys working with children between the ages of 3-5.
WHERE IS IT BASED?
Burnaby, BC
**Responsibilities**:
- Collaborate with the principal on school curriculum
- Responsible for providing a program that supports the individual needs of the children in accordance with this mission and vision under the supervision of the Senior ECE teacher
- Provide a nurturing and stimulating environment to facilitate children’s growth, exploration and participation
- Maintain clean and safe classroom environment for children
- Develop lesson plans for children to develop their social, emotional, physical and intellectual skills ∙ Observe the child and interpret the child’s needs
Additional Duties:
- Reporting directly to principal/Senior ECE
- Maintain attendance records
**Qualifications**:
- ECEA license and certification
- First Aid
- No classroom experience required
**Salary**: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
