Delivery Driver

**We are looking for someone to help with deliveries three days a week, 3-5 hours a day.**

**Flexible hours to a point. Vehicle and gas provided.**

**Must be able to lift 30 lbs repeatedly.**

**Job Title**:
Wet Clean - Delivery

**Based At**:
7-24 Trowbridge St West, Meaford, On

**Reports To**:
Wet Clean - Lead Hand, Georgian Bay Wet Cleaners

**Job Purpose Summary**:
Responsible for ensuring transportation of pre-clean and post-clean garments and items to and from Plant to all Depot locations

**Key Tasks**:
1. Arrive at work at prescribed time each day, knowing tardiness and absences will place hardship on fellow team members and disrupt cleaning schedules.

2. Pickup and Drop Off all Depot items to / from Plant

3. Drive in a safe and controlled manner at all times.

4. Handle and resolve customer complaints quickly, correctly and efficiently

5. Report any unresolved customer complaints promptly to Customer Service - Professional and Wet Clean Director

6. Report any emergency maintenance problems, personal issues, accidents or injuries promptly to Wet Clean - Lead Hand..

7. Learn specific cleaning techniques of the company. Work smarter, not harder.

8. Attend and participate in meetings as requested by the Wet Cleaning Director.

9. Understand and adhere to safety procedures as established in the company's _Workplace Health and Safety_.

10. Communicate effectively with team members, andclients.

11. Perform other related duties as assigned.

12. Contribute to formulation of policy and strategy for all aspects of Wet Clean division

**Required Skills**:

- Proficient and clean driving ability and license
- Ability to organize oneself, others and clients’ needs
- Clear and concise oral and written communication abilities
- Ability to motivate personnel and understand dynamic between corporate and client needs
- Ability to use personal judgment and initiative to develop effective and constructive solutions to challenges and obstacles

**Expectations**:

- Report to work each day and on time, and work extra hours when needed and available.
- Comply with proper safety policies and procedures as required
- Drive in a safe and controlled manner at all times
- Never be under the influence of any substance tat may impair driving judgement
- Provides excellent level of customer service to both internal and external customers.
- Determine the neatness, accuracy and thoroughness of the work assigned, and complete it
- Immediately notify Wet Clean - Director of any issues, questions, or concerns.
- If required to travel for business: maintains a valid driver’s license and good driving record.
- May be required to use own vehicle

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to:

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 15-20 per week

**Salary**: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
