Trux Transport is looking for a Class 1 driver who can shift Manual to Shunt Containers, 53ft Trailers and a small wood dump trailer at our location with a day cab TRACTOR Trailers are to be picked up from our yard "5 Min from our shop" and brought to our Shop docks and ramps. Busy yard as well as tight for backing in so experience is a must MUST BE ABLE TO BACK UP BLIND SIDE. there is a small wood dump trailer that we fill up with pallets that we offload at a location behind our shop. Driver duties insist of hooking on to trailers and shunting them back and fourth from our shop to our yard. offloading the dump trailer and helping out move what ever needs to be moved during the day. Driver duties also include Fueling up Trucks and helping out fleet managing. Must have a Cellphone that we can call and text trailer numbers and dispatch to frequently throughout the day. with down time waiting in between offloads and reloads you can always keep busy helping out the warehouse with other duties Driver will use our Shunt truck "Day-Cab 10 Speed Volvo Tractor" Start time 8AM -4-5PM Monday to Friday. NO weekends or Stats. Vest and gloves will be needed for the job. Only drivers with experience in backing up apply, our yard is tight and hectic and the driver will need to be able to handle stressful situations. **Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent **Salary**: $27.00 per hour Schedule: - 10 hour shift - 8 hour shift Supplemental pay types: - Overtime pay
