We're currently seeking a Sewing Machine Operator to perform repetitive tasks on a production line. You will be responsible for operating machinery to ensure our company’s manufacturing processes are efficient and effective. Sewing Machine Operator responsibilities include Sewing menu covers and inspecting finished products to ensure they meet quality standards. A wide range of other duties including working on a glue line assembling parts to be ready for sewing.The key requirements for this role include the ability to work within tight timeframes and make decisions based on visual feedback. An organized approach to problem-solving is essential due to the high volume of machines and large amount of tasks. As a Sewing Machine Operator, your goal is to improve the production process while adhering to health and safety guidelines.

**Responsibilities**:

- Operate and maintain production machinery (e.g. commercial sewing machines, gluing machines and others used to produce our products.
- Research product specifications and suggest possible improvements.
- Clear jams and unblock machinery as necessary.
- Detect faults in equipment and notify supervisor in case of emergency situation.
- Keep machine area clean and organized to avoid accidents.
- Receive training on new equipment before starting work on it.
- Report problems to maintenance staff, who repair or replace faulty equipment.

**Salary**: From $15.00 per hour
