Currently Technica is seeking a motivated individual to join our growing team as a **Corporate Controller **at our headquarters in Lively, ON. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the general responsibilities of the Corporate Controller include, but not limited to:

- Overseeing and ensuring that accounts payable are paid in a timely manner and accounts receivable are collected promptly
- Overseeing payroll and invoicing
- General accounting needs, account reconciliations, and preparation and analysis of various accounting reports
- Reviewing company insurance
- Assisting with managing health benefits and company pension plans
- Preparing working papers for year end and coordinating with external accountants
- Other administrative duties as assigned

**Qualifications**
- University degree in accounting, professional designation is an asset
- Able to analyze, organize, summarize and articulate complex legal and financial information
- Good command of the English language and be able to proofread work, French language knowledge is an asset
- Able to read and interpret agreements, then implement the relevant provisions of these agreements
- Detailed, organized and communicative
- Understanding, yet persuasive and decisive when dealing with others in the organization
- Responsive team player with ability to quickly prioritize among numerous pressing tasks
- Task and goal oriented and capable of functioning in an entrepreneurial and corporate setting
- Willing and able to undergo pre-employment testing as a condition of employment
