**About this opportunity**
This position will be located in Vaughan, bordering Peel and Etobicoke ON.
Reporting to the Post Press Coordinator, the Material Handling Associate will be responsible for
- **What you will do**
- Work as a member of the Material Handling Team at the Vaughan Ontario printing plant.
- Operate all fork trucks, clamp trucks and associated equipment.
- Load and unload trucks as required.
- Schedule, process, track and store all incoming materials into the plant.
- Optimize the operation of material handling equipment and systems.
- Perform both production and minor maintenance duties as required.
- Actively work to ensure that productivity, waste and quality standards are met.
- Participate in the 5S process
- Ability to work within a team environment and interact with all areas of production

**What we are looking for**
- Ability to operate any or all of the following: Fork Trucks, Clamp Trucks and other lifting devices
- Work with computer programs including Word, Excel. Globetek, Production Matrix
- Ability to deal with drivers, trucking companies and others in a positive way
- Positive references
- Demonstrated leadership, problem-solving skills and technical knowledge.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- High initiative and ability to work with low supervision

**Working Condition, Compensation and Benefits**:

- Work schedule is 42 hours per week during the day with the possibility of some night shift work.
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts.

**Safety and Policies**:

- Participate and meet requirements of Health and Safety training.
- Ensure compliance with all Company policies.
