Mountain Coast is looking to fill the following position immediately:
**Experienced Excavator Operator**

Looking for an operator who is experienced in civil utilities mainline excavating. Storm, sanitary and water mains onsite and offsite. Someone who can work effectively to keep the machine and crew moving. With the ability to take and execute instructions, and delegate duties in a team environment. Clear and effective verbal and written English communication skills required. Responsible for daily equipment inspections, reports and machine maintenance.

**Qualifications**:

- Proficient knowledge of road and underground utilities
- Familiarity of civil materials and supplies
- Comfortable with technical digging, congested areas and locating existing services
- Loading and offloading trucks
- Ability to Understand drawings and elevation of grades
- Run Cat Controls

**Requirements**:

- Civil Utility Construction Experience: 5 years min
- Work in adherence to all WCB work safe practices, procedures, as well as regulatory requirements
- Driver’s license
- Reliable vehicle
- Physically Fit, strong hand-eye coordination, ability to lift 50lbs
- Available to work overtime on weekdays
