“Houseman” are responsible for working as a team to maintain, break down, and refresh room set ups for conferences, large events, and meetings. As well as refreshing rooms during the day, and providing a world class experience for our guests.”

Job Responsibilities
- Know and comply with all ARAMARK and client policies and procedures regarding safety, security, and emergencies.
- Perform event change overs, by setting up or moving stage/risers, dance floor, pipe and drape, chairs, tables and other equipment.
- Maintaining water service and amenities stations in all meeting rooms throughout the day.
- Maintaining friendly, efficient, spirit of service attitude towards guests, clients and co-workers
- Must work well with fellow employees in a fast-paced team oriented environment.
- Properly store and maintain all equipment during and at the end of shift.
- Operate material handling equipment such as tow motor/pallet lift.

**Qualifications**:

- Steel toe work boots
- The ability to lift up to 50lbs
- Must be able to read, write and communicate efficiently in English
- Availability to work overnights if required.
- Experience in the hotel or banquet setup field is appreciated but not required.

This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective equipment (PPE).

**Salary**: From $18.47 per hour

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Night shift
- Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Ottawa, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
