**Carpenter Overview**
**Duties**
- Build or create foundational wood structures or frameworks for outdoor kitchens, fireplaces, roofs, fences, decks, walkways and custom built sheds.
- Safe use, operation, and maintenance of woodworking tools.
- Collaborate and communicate with the team.
- High-level attention to detail.
- Read and interpret blueprints to determine project specifications and requirements.
- Ensure that all work is plumb, level, and square according to industry standards.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople to ensure seamless project execution.
- This position reports to the VP of Operations.
**Qualifications**:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 5+ years of related carpentry experience, Red seal journeymen certificate preferred
- Strong knowledge of carpentry materials, equipment, and techniques
- Must be able to read and follow directions from design or construction drawings
- Must follow all safety regulations
- Proven problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, liaise with clients as required
- Must be able to work independently and collaborate within a team
- Able to work in a fast-paced, dead-line-driven environment
- Valid driver’s license and clean driver's abstract
- Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor tasks effectively.
Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
