**Instructor, Educational Assistant Program (Term Full-Time)**

- **POSITION TYPE**: Full-Time, Term Position Available (anticipated August 18, 2025 up to April 30, 2026)
- **SALARY**: $63,375 - $96,946 per annum*

**POSITION LOCATION**: Winkler Campus (120km outside of Winnipeg, MB)
- **DUTIES**
Reporting to the Regional Campus Manager in Winkler, Red River College Polytechnic is looking for an Instructor for the Educational Assistant Program. Responsibilities related to instructing include: curriculum development, preparing course outlines, maintaining student records, classroom management, student evaluation, assisting in College activities including instructor meetings, student orientation, graduation and relevant committees.
- **REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS**
- Bachelor of Education. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
- Significant and progressive experience in the Education field, including teaching in a school environment and working with Support Staff including Educational Assistants
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to use conflict resolution techniques to facilitate positive outcomes
- Demonstrated leadership skills
- Strong presentation skills
- Ability to teach on campus and remotely
- Demonstrated experience using Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work independently as well as in small to large group settings
- Ability to implement current practices into formative and summative assessments
- Experience building a respectful workplace culture that promotes diversity, learning and continuous improvement

**ASSET QUALIFICATIONS**
- Experience developing curriculum and instructing at a post-secondary level
- Certificate in Teaching for Learning or Adult Education
- Experience developing and instructing distance-delivered courses including online
- Experience using a Learning Management System (LMS) to deliver blended (synchronous and asynchronous) instruction

**CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT**
- Applicants must be legally entitled to work in Canada
- This position may be required to work evenings and/or weekends
- This position may be required to work throughout the academic year including the summer months
- Instructors are required to complete the Teaching for Learning (TFL) in Applied Education program or have previously completed the Certificate in Adult Education (CAE)
- May be required to work at various RRC Polytech campuses
