**We are currently recruiting for a Site Manager, Halifax region of NS**

Working out of our office in Halifax NS, the Site Manager will oversee staff, contractor’s and our overall operation of one site.

**Responsibilities**:

- Ensure that staff maintains cleaning requirements at a consistent, optimum level of efficiency.
- Ongoing training of staff in the correct procedures of cleaning, according to the company’s policies and procedures, and WHMIS training on hazardous chemicals in the workplace.
- Supervise employees within assigned duties
- Conduct site inspections.
- Obtain all special requests from clients and ensure that requests are carried out promptly and efficiently.
- Ensure Health and Safety requirements are followed and maintained
- Coverage for managers for vacations

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience supervising staff.
- Previous experience within the cleaning industry desired.
- Understanding of proper use and maintenance of cleaning equipment and cleaning chemicals.
- Understanding of health and safety issues.

**Other**:

- Required to be flexible in adjusting workloads of staff to manage around absenteeism, special projects.
- Must have strong communications skills - ability to communicate in English as well as write simple reports and correspondence and maintain administrative records.
- Successful applicant must have valid driver's license a clean driver's abstract.
- **A Criminal Background Check is a requirement for this position**

This position has a salary range of $40,000 to $42,000 per year.

Bonus plan, and matching RSP’s.

Employee Health Benefits plan is available after 3 months employment.

**Salary**: $40,000.00-$42,000.00 per year
