The Sales Support Assistant works in partnership with the Sales Lead, Personal Finance Officers Team, Marketing Lead and Chief Growth Officer in ensuring coordination of smooth, accurate, efficient and effective sales operations. Their primary responsibility is to provide operational and administrative support to help sales team and marketing team focus on generating revenue.

**Primary Duties and Responsiblites**:
**Customer Support**:

- Coordinate between customers and PFOs to ensure all requests are handled promptly.
- Assist with returning customer queries when PFO's are out doing marketing and lead generation activities.
- Assist with creating profiles in Vergent for new customers when PFOs are out in the field or involved in follow-up activities in order to convert leads into loans same day.
- Assist with basic customer requests such as loan balances, balance letter, general information regarding customer accounts.

**Loans Issuance and Sales Documentation**:

- Issue returning loans including coordinating with loan underwriters in order to offload PFOs enabling them to focus on growing number of first time customers.
- Assist the PFOs by following up pertaining to obtaining required documents from clients to maintain a high level of customer service and facilitate loan conversion.
- Ensure all sales and marketing documents are complete and compliant with company policies before being forwarded to other departments.

**Marketing**Coordination**:

- Coordinate with marketing to support campaigns, promotions, and events by coordinating collateral, sending marketing materials, and assisting with communication when required.
- Assist Marketing Lead and Sales Lead with any current promotions to ensure a smooth roll out, or with any event the team will be executing.

**Administrative Support**:

- Handle routine administrative tasks such as preparing reports, presentations, sales documents, and organizing electronic files.
- Assist in scheduling meetings, and follow-ups with clients or leads to ensure timely completion to meet established deadlines.
- Take minutes in team meetings and consistently follow up on action items.
- Maintain weekly and monthly results tracking reports.

**Cross-Departmental Communication**:

- Follow up with other departments when customers call in requesting help in updating their account due to any payment errors or any other issues related to their account.
- Act as a liaison between the sales department and other teams like marketing, finance, and customer support to ensure alignment and smooth workflows.
- Coordinate with Accounts department to process invoices, and payments when required.
- Any other duties assigned

**Education**
A minimum of Associates Degree in Business Administration or related field

**Work Experience**
Minimum 2 years experience in office procedures/administrative support
(Equivalent combination of education with work experience will be considered.)

**Knowledge/Skills/Abilities**
Office management systems, especially Excel and MS office proficiency.
Tech-savvy and experience with spreadsheeting/presentation
Good language skills - spoken and written English (bi-lingual a plus)
Organization, multitasking and time management skills
Good communication and people skills

**Working Environment**:
The Sales Assistant will be equipped with standard office equipment. Hours of operations will be on a 40-hour work week between the hours of Monday to Friday 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.and when required he/she will be required to work outside of regular office hours to complete tasks in specified time frame.
