**Barmac Contracting Ltd. is looking for a certified heavy equipment technician.**

**The Position**:
**Responsibilities**:

- Mix of shop and in field work - job van provided
- Valid class 5 driver's license with air
- Ability to lift up to 100lbs using safe lifting techniques
- Good communication skills
- Welding experience would be an asset
- Ensure all safety regulations and quality standards are met.
- Complete work orders on assigned equipment.
- Adhere to company safety policies and procedures.
- Tools provided

**Skills**:

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and stay organized in a team environment.
- Ability to read, write and communicate in English.
- Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions in English.
- Must be able to work independently with little supervision or as part of a team with other employees.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $35.00-$50.00 per hour
