**About the role**

As Chief of Staff, you will be a trusted partner to the CEO and a key connector and relationship builder across the company. You'll blend high-level strategic thinking with hands-on execution, helping translate ideas into action while ensuring team alignment, operational effectiveness, and strong internal communication. You’ll have a unique vantage point into every part of the business, from financial analysis and internal processes to team morale and long-term planning.

This role is perfect for someone analytically-minded, technically savvy, deeply organized, and eager to scale their impact. You may have experience as an Executive Assistant, People or Technical Ops lead, or Business Manager, and now you're looking for a broader role with more ownership, strategic exposure, and growth potential.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Strategic & Analytical Support_
- Analyze key data from various sources (sales trends, customer usage, financials, industry insights) and provide strategic recommendations
- Prepare briefings, dashboards, and internal reports for the CEO that help shape company priorities and decisions
- Act as a critical thinking partner for the CEO, challenging ideas constructively and contributing new perspectives
- Surface blind spots, trade-offs, and opportunities across the business
- Internal Operations & Communication_
- Attend key meetings and keep a pulse on team dynamics, potential roadblocks, and areas needing CEO input
- Help reinforce company vision and strategic messages throughout the organization to ensure clarity and alignment
- Manage internal initiatives, ensuring cross-functional follow-through and timely updates to the CEO
- Execution & Delegation_
- Take on tasks or projects that would normally fall on the CEO’s desk, either by executing them directly or coordinating with others to get them done
- Handle a range of operational and administrative responsibilities (e.g., managing vacation calendars, booking travel, etc.)
- Ensure accountability and progress on delegated tasks across the organization
- Finance & Invoicing_
- Oversee and manage our invoicing system to ensure timely, accurate billing to clients
- Follow up with customers on outstanding payments and maintain a clear view of accounts receivable
- Work closely with the CEO and accountant/bookkeepers to track cash flow, reconcile reports, and maintain accurate financial records
- Support the preparation of monthly or quarterly financial snapshots by compiling data from accounting software, spreadsheets, and CRM tools
- Flag issues, delays, or unusual trends in payments or financial activity proactively
- People & Culture (HR)_
- Support day-to-day HR coordination, including vacation tracking, team announcements, performance reviews, onboarding/offboarding coordination, and policy upkeep
- Maintain internal documentation and use HR tools (like Humi) to track team data and org health
- Source and maintain competitive Employee Health Benefit plan
- Help the CEO foster a culture of clarity, feedback, and follow-through
