We are seeking a motivated and energetic Kitchen Assistant/Helper to join our vibrant South Indian Kitchen In our kitchen, we cook South Indian foods and pizza. In this dynamic role, you will play a vital part in supporting the daily operations of our kitchen, ensuring smooth meal preparation, food handling, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. **Duties**
- Assist with food preparation by chopping, peeling, and organizing ingredients for various dishes
- Make and bake Pizzas, knowledge of pizza making is a must.
- Support cooking activities under the supervision of chefs or kitchen managers
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout the kitchen, including washing dishes and cleaning workstations
- Handle food safely by following proper storage, handling, and hygiene procedures
- Prepare ingredients for meal service, including portioning and plating as needed
- Assist with setting up catering events or special functions by organizing supplies and preparing food stations
- Ensure all kitchen equipment is properly maintained and report any issues promptly

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a busy kitchen setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards collaboration
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods, lift heavy objects, and perform repetitive tasks
- Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
- Passion for cooking and eagerness to develop culinary skills through on-the-job training
