Sherwood Park, Canada Can Traffic Services Ltd. Full time

As the Yard Coordinator/Operator with Can-Traffic you will work closely with the Inventory Supervisor to plan, schedule and manage inbound shipments and outbound orders for all movement of items in and out of the yard. This position works Monday to Friday 8-4:30 schedule with opportunities for overtime. To thrive in this role you must have experience with yard layout/management, be hardworking, can show up on time everyday, work in a physically demanding environment and have a great attitude. **What you will do everyday**
- Responsible for safe, efficient movement of goods and merchandise in and out of the facility including inventory control and yard layout/management.
- Work closely with the Yard Supervisor, to plan, schedule and manage inbound shipments and outbound orders for all movement of items in and out of the yard
- Unload shipments from suppliers, verifying order accuracy
- Safe operation of small equipment such as, skid steer and telehandler.
- Support leadership on continuous improvements of the inventory management system
- Assist with costing, product descriptions, vendor information, etc. is accurate and complete
- Assist with providing product and vendor performance reports as required by management
- Ensure proper housekeeping protocol to protect product and equipment and ensure yard and warehouse is presentable
- Perform manual tasks in all operations including use of hand power tools and equipment
- Order pick from up from suppliers
- Build signal heads, manufacturing threaded pipe, organize material for jobs
- Other duties as assigned

- Ability to perform strenuous work activities in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to frequently lift, push, and slide packages that typically weigh up to 50 lbs
- Ability to follow written and verbal directions
- Ability to work in inclement weather conditions

**Qualifications Needed**
- High School Diploma with previously related experience
- Valid Alberta Class 5 driver’s license and submission of a 5-year Driver’s Abstract with less than 7 demerits
- Valid Alberta Class 3Q driver’s license is an asset
- Skid Steer and Telehandler is preferred
