**DESCRIPTION**

The Spanish or French Translation and TMS Specialist’s primary functions are to manage Spanish translations and reviews, oversee our Translation Memory System (TMS), and coordinate the workflows for both Spanish and French translation.

**COMPETENCIES**
- Post-secondary degree, diploma, or formal coursework in translation, language studies or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience
- Proven experience in translation and review, specifically Spanish or French translations for the North American market
- Strong knowledge and experience working with Translation Memory Systems
- Excellent command of both written and spoken English and Spanish or French
- Strong project management skills, ability to multitask and prioritize
- Organized, with a keen attention to detail and quality
- Knowledge of tile or construction industry terminology is an asset

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Perform high-quality translations from English to Spanish or French across various formats (digital, print, etc.).
- Review and proofread Spanish or French translations to ensure accuracy and alignment with brand guidelines.
- Manage and maintain our Translation Memory System (TMS), ensuring the correct usage of terms and consistency across all translated materials.
- Coordinate translation workflows for both French and Spanish, collaborating with internal teams and external translation resources to meet deadlines.
- Work closely with outside translation firms to ensure a quality TMS in both French and Spanish.
- Develop and maintain translation glossaries and style guides to ensure consistency in terminology and tone across all translated materials.
- Gain and maintain knowledge of Schluter Systems products and installation practices.
- Ensure the continuous improvement of translation processes, implementing improvements to improve translation speed, quality, and efficiency.
- Optimize translated content for search engines (SEO), collaborating with digital teams to ensure effective keyword usage and SEO best practices.

Pay: $65,000.00-$82,000.00 per year
