- Work efficiently and maintain a clean work environment at all times.
- Be effective in communicating with all other departments in the Restaurant.
- Keep the restaurant clean and tidy, as this is the first thing our guests see when they walk in.
- Ask questions when you are unsure how to do something. If a guest asks you a question you are not sure the answer to, let the guests know you are unsure and you will get back to them.
- Follow our company’s policies and procedures at all times.
- Upsell menu items wherever possible. Be aware of products we are out of and our daily soups and features.
- Complete shift check list during each scheduled shift.
- Responsible for coffee service set up and clean up when required.
- Be accurate and consistent when taking and inputting reservations.
- Provide consistency in our service standards and ensure the quality of our product is being met.
- Work with the front of house team to create the best possible dining experience for our guests.
- Strive to always provide the best service to our guests.
- Function and bar set up, service and clean up.
- Ensure you are checking the reservation book at the beginning, during and end of your shift.
- Deal with any guest complaints in a calm and professional manner. Pass along all complaints to the management team.
