Harbour Lights is a mid-high-rise condominium consisting of 1 building with a total of 83 suites located in Burlington. The amenities include a gym, party room and outdoor pool.
We are looking for a highly motivated experienced Superintendent (preferably a couple, with a live-in suite available). To be considered for this position, you must have prior experience as a residential Superintendent, a strong work ethic and a proactive mindset. You must also have excellent customer service skills and ensure communications are positive and professional with residents, the board of directors, property management, cleaners, and trades.
Qualifications:
- Previous Superintendent experience; minimum 5 years
- Minimum high school
- No criminal record
- Computer literate with good communication skills
- Previous WHMIS and other safety training helpful
- No restrictions lifting heavy objects.
Duties include:
- Responsible for reporting all deficiencies, maintenance and condo violations to the Property Manager.
- Taking care of supply inventory and reporting it to the Property Manager as required.
- Attend and take appropriate action in emergency situations and provide emergency on-call support for the residents.
- Assist owners and trades persons in a reasonable manner.
- Monitor and maintain Mechanical room and ongoing prevention maintenance.
- Responsible for the handling of the garbage and recycling bins on a weekly basis.
- Ability to perform small repairs in common areas.
- Manage the scheduling of all amenity bookings, contractor visits, and reservations for move ins/outs.
- Updating of all building systems (including resident information, intercoms, passcodes, etc. ) into the Condo Control Central web based portal.
- Strong ability to work in a team environment, with excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Office administration work includes phones, preparing notices, organizing, and maintaining records (including our web portal updates).
- Must be able to politely, and without conflict, enforce rules and regulations of the Condominium.
- Complete any additional specific tasks that might be assigned from time to time by the Property Manager
