What are the details about the position?

Company: Manitoulin Timber Frames

Position: Experienced Carpenter

Status: Full-time, 5-6 days / week

Location: Manitoulin

Compensation: $30-35/ hour to start

Description:

- Cut timber frame joinery in the shop
- Raise timber frames on site
- Install decks, foundations, trusses, windows, steel roofs
- Maintain a clean and organized job site

Other Requirements:

- You MUST have your own vehicle. You will need a vehicle that you can carry tools and pull a trailer between jobsites as needed.
- Must possess great communication skills.
- Must enjoy working outdoors. Willing to get dirty.
- Comfortable with heights and working on ladders
- Carpentry experience is a MUST.

Although experience is important, we care more about your attitude than anything else. Clean boots and a great attitude can succeed better here than just having 30 years of experience.

**Salary**: $30.00-$35.00 per hour

- carpentry: 3 years (required)
