**About the Role**

We are seeking a proactive and experienced Plant **Maintenance Manager** to lead and manage our facility’s maintenance department. This position is responsible for ensuring the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of all maintenance activities, in compliance with regulatory standards and internal requirements. The role will oversee preventive maintenance, manage a team of technicians, optimize use of resources, and contribute to continuous improvement in plant reliability and safety.

**Key Responsibilities1. Personnel and Safety Management**
- Supervise and lead unionized and non-unionized maintenance employees.
- Ensure a safe working environment and adherence to all safety protocols.
- Conduct employee performance evaluations and manage labor relations in accordance with collective agreements.
- Identify training needs and facilitate development programs for staff.

**2. Maintenance Strategy and Execution**
- Develop and implement mid
- and long-term maintenance strategies.
- Oversee maintenance planning, scheduling, and execution in line with company policies.
- Forecast and manage plant maintenance budgets.
- Contribute to Major Turn-Around (TAR) planning and work with centralized planning teams.
- Ensure proper inventory and spare parts management, including critical spares.

**3. CMMS & ERP System Utilization**
- Act as the CMMS Super User to support system usage and maintenance data accuracy.
- Ensure proper execution, planning, and closure of work orders.
- Monitor and report on KPIs related to maintenance efficiency and system utilization.
- Coordinate contractors and service providers and track associated costs.

**4. Preventive Maintenance**
- Maintain and continuously improve the preventive maintenance system.
- Develop and adjust preventive maintenance schedules based on equipment reliability data.
- Work in collaboration with Reliability Engineers for system improvements.

**5. Continuous Improvement**
- Identify opportunities for process optimization and cost savings.
- Propose modifications to equipment or procedures to enhance reliability and efficiency.
- Support multifunctional teams to improve job plans and execution standards.

**6. Quality and Compliance**
- Implement and uphold quality management frameworks including:

- Flange management
- Functional checks for critical equipment
- Calibration protocols
- Instrumentation trip/alarm verifications
- Ensure work permits and work orders are properly closed upon completion.
- Conduct audits and inspections to maintain compliance with industry standards.
- Promote high standards for yard work, housekeeping, and seasonal maintenance.

**Qualifications & Experience**
- **Education**: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Mechanical Technologist Diploma.
- **Experience**: 7-10 years in a maintenance supervisory role.
- **Technical Knowledge**:

- Experience with large compressors, turbo-expanders, refrigeration systems.
- Proficiency in CMMS tools (e.g., Maximo), ERP systems, Primavera, and Google Suite.
- Familiarity with Canadian regulations, electrical, welding, and HSE procedures.

Pay: $115,000.00-$130,000.00 per year
