**About the Opportunity**:
Under the supervision of the Family Practice Team Lead, Health Services Manager or delegate and with delegation from the physicians/NP or supporting team members, the Primary Care Clinic Clerk performs clerical and receptionist duties for the family practice office during daytime and evening hours. Including answering calls, booking appointments, checking in patients and assisting clinicians to maximize clinic efficiency. Other clerical duties include scanning to and maintenance of EMR, faxing, typing consult letters, auditing processes as required and billing of clinician services.

**About You**:
We would love to hear from you if you have the following:

- Grade 12 plus one year related experience or graduate of a recognized one year secretarial/business program required
- General office skills required
- Medical Terminology preferred
- Demonstrated strong computer working knowledge and skills
- Demonstrated ability to remain calm during an emergency and deal with numerous interruptions and continuous change an asset
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills required
- Demonstrates problem solving and decision making skills required
- Competencies in other languages preferred, French an asset

$20.09 - $21.91 hourly
