Be our next **Laboratory Technician**
We have an immediate opening for a Laboratory Technician to join our Materials Testing group in our London, ON office.
**What a day at EXP has in store for you**
- Carrying out aggregate, asphalt, soil and concrete tests within our Aggregate, Asphalt, and Concrete Laboratories;
- Ensuring laboratory equipment is maintained in good condition;
- Assisting management team in laboratory certification, and record keeping;
- Interacting with Materials and Geotechnical Engineers routinely;Operating computerized and digital testing equipment.
**What your experience looks like**
- Minimum 1 year of experience in Aggregate, Asphalt, and Concrete testing Laboratory;
- Possess a current CCIL/CSA Certification for concrete (field and laboratory) is required;
- Possess a current CCIL Certification for Aggregates/Asphalt/Soils an asset;
- Knowledge in Physical Properties and Petrographic Number determinations an asset;
- Experience with Marshall and Superpave testing;
- Strong focus on Health and Safety;
- Posses a valid driver's license and own vehicle;
- Strong communication skills and leadership capabilities;
- Ability to work overtime in peak periods;
- Excellent organizational skills and time management a must;
- Proficiency with the windows operating system, Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel;Able to organize, prioritize, set and adjust priorities and schedules independently.
