The Front Counter Tire and Wheel Sales Specialist is responsible for providing exceptional customer service, offering expert advice on tire and wheel products, and driving sales at the front counter. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for the automotive industry, excellent communication skills, and a strong sales-oriented mindset.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Customer Service**: Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting the appropriate tires and wheels based on their needs and preferences. Scheduling appointments and checking customers in and out.
- **Product Knowledge**: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tire and wheel products, brands, and services offered. Provide expert advice to customers, explaining product features, benefits, and pricing.
- **Sales**: Identify customer needs and recommend suitable products. Upsell additional services and products when appropriate to maximize sales.
- **Order Processing**: Accurately process orders, handle customer transactions, and ensure that all necessary paperwork is completed.
- **Inventory Management**: Assist in managing inventory levels by tracking product availability, receiving new stock, and organizing display areas.
- **Team Collaboration**: Work closely with the service team to ensure timely installation and customer satisfaction. Communicate any customer-specific requirements or concerns.
- **Problem Solving**: Address and resolve customer complaints or issues promptly and professionally.
- **Follow-up**: Conduct follow-up calls to ensure customer satisfaction and encourage repeat business.
**Qualifications**:
- **Experience**: Previous experience in tire and wheel sales or a related automotive sales role is preferred.
- **Customer Focus**: Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service and build lasting relationships.
- **Sales Skills**: Proven track record in meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- **Communication**: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- **Attention to Detail**: Strong organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
- **Team Player**: Ability to work effectively as part of a team and contribute to a positive work environment.
- **Technology**: Proficiency in using point-of-sale (POS) systems and basic computer skills.
- **Physical Requirements**: Ability to lift and handle tires and wheels, and stand for extended periods.
