As we continue to expand our operations, we are looking for a skilled Logistics Manager to join our team and contribute to our success.

**Job Description**:
We are seeking an experienced Logistics Manager to oversee and optimize our logistics operations. The Logistics Manager will be responsible for negotiating truck rates with carriers and ensuring the efficient movement of goods from point of origin to destination. Additionally, the Logistics Manager will have the opportunity to engage in freight sales during their free time to earn additional bonuses.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Carrier Rate Negotiation: The Logistics Manager will be responsible for negotiating competitive trucking rates with carriers to minimize costs while maintaining quality service levels.

2. Freight Sales: In their free time, the Logistics Manager will have the opportunity to actively engage in freight sales to generate additional revenue for themselves and the company.

3. Supply Chain Optimization: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize supply chain processes, improve efficiency, and reduce transportation costs.

4. Carrier Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with carriers and vendors to ensure reliable and cost-effective transportation services.

5. Route Planning: Develop and implement effective route planning strategies to optimize delivery schedules and minimize transit times.

6. Cost Control: Monitor transportation expenses, identify cost-saving opportunities, and implement cost-effective solutions.

7. Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and industry standards, including safety and environmental guidelines.

8. Reporting: Generate and analyze logistics performance reports, providing recommendations for improvements as needed.

9. Team Collaboration:* Work closely with other departments, including sales, operations, and customer service, to ensure seamless logistics operations.

Qualifications:

- Proven experience as a Logistics Manager or in a similar role within the transportation and logistics industry.
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to secure competitive rates from carriers.
- Knowledge of logistics software and systems.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to engage in freight sales during free time to earn additional bonuses.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $19.00-$23.00 per hour
