The Kids Academy in Port Moody, provides high quality daycare to children aged < 5 years, in a spacious, state of the art facility, with bright classrooms and a large on-site playground. We are currently looking for team members with Infant&Toddler designation to join our team. We offer an attractive and competitive compensation package to our valued employees and support them through their professional development journey in the Early Childhood Education field. **Responsibilities**: - Plan, prepare, and deliver lesson plans and instructional materials in line with The Kids Academy’s framework - Implement and make necessary adjustments to daily schedule to meet the developmental needs of the children in the classroom - Follow childcare regulations during work hours, in and outside of the classroom - Follow the designated lesson plans when interacting with children - Abide by all policies and procedures set forth by The Kids Academy **Requirements**: - Infant and Toddler designition - Valid First Aid, CPR certificates and valid CRC record - Positions available in IT and Pre-school rooms **Soft skills requirements**: - Enthusiastic about taking care of children, Positive energy and a team player - Good communication skills both verbal and written to communicate with the parents - Capable of independent problem solving while following the guidelines of the Kids Academy - Reliable and punctual to deliver on all daily tasks and capable of good time management - Good team player and open to changes **Benefits**: - Attractive and competitive base compensation - Health Care and Dental Care Plan - Vacation and Sick leave pay - Full-time, part time, casual and on-call positions available - Career development opportunity in a large commercial facility **Salary and Additional pay**: - **Salary**: $24.00 to $28.00 per hour (based on credentials and experience), including ECE Wage Enhancement (for qualified employees) - Pay increases and promotions based on performance and seniority level **Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time Part-time hours: 40 per week **Salary**: $24.00-$28.00 per hour **Benefits**: - Dental care - Extended health care - On-site childcare - On-site parking - Paid time off Schedule: - 4 hour shift - 8 hour shift Supplemental pay types: - Overtime pay Ability to commute/relocate: - Port Moody, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required) Application question(s): - What is your salary expectation?
