**Steinbach Family Resource Centre** supports growing families through pregnancy, postpartum and early childhood development. The Program Manager is responsible for the development and day-to-day coordination of Family Programming, including developing, implementing and leading program initiatives, as well as managing staff. Working closely with the Executive Director, they will oversee, evaluate and refine perinatal, early years and family programs, and manage staff and volunteers to ensure impactful services, effective communication, and a positive team environment.
**Responsibilities**:
- Recruit, hire, orientate, train, schedule, evaluate and recognize SFRC program and front-line staff - ensuring an understanding of responsibilities and alignment with organizational goals.
- Provide leadership, guidance, and support to program staff, fostering a positive work environment and promoting professional development.
- Coordinate team meetings and collaborate with HR, Finance, and Operations to ensure effective communication and coordination of supports.
- Ensure accurate documentation of guest interactions, resource distribution, referrals and attendance. Gather statistics, create and format reports for funders, proposals, and organizational documents.
- Analyse and evaluate perinatal and family programs; work with program staff to implement educational content that meets funding requirements and community need.
- Develop and monitor program budgets as well as ensure necessary funding is in place to support programs.
- Prepare and support payroll & timesheets, keep detailed employee records, remain current in labour standards and practices.
- Recognize opportunities for sponsorship, donations, and resources, build and leverage relationships to maximize the impact on families in the community.
- Is a key player in the organization’s special events, fundraising & marketing initiatives.
**Qualifications**:
- Post-secondary diploma or certificate in Social Work, Early Childhood Education, Human Services, Business Administration, or related field.
- Proficient in Microsoft office suite with superior skills using Word, Outlook, and Excel.
- Post secondary education in accounting, quickbooks, and payroll administration an asset.
- 2-3 years of experience in program coordination, ideally in a family services/perinatal/early childhood setting.
- Minimum 2 years experience in a supervisory capacity providing leadership and guidance.

Pay: $45,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
