**Overview**:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced **Equipment Operator** to join our team at a busy waste transfer station. In this role, you will work closely with other operators to ensure the efficient and safe handling of waste materials using heavy equipment such as wheel loaders and excavators.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Operate a **wheel loader** to push up garbage as trucks dump, ensuring the area is clear and organized
- Operate an **excavator** as needed to bail garbage and load the compactor
- Support a team-based environment where operators rotate duties and breaks as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and safety standards throughout the transfer station
- Perform daily equipment checks and report any maintenance issues
- Follow all safety protocols and site procedures

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience operating a wheel loader and excavator is required
- Ability to work in a physically demanding and fast-paced environment
- Team-oriented with good communication skills
- Must be dependable and punctual
- Safety-conscious with a strong attention to detail

**Schedule**:

- 10-hour shifts, 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM
- Full-time position, including some weekends as needed

Pay: $24.00-$28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 50 - 60 per week
