**Overview**
Innovative Sport Medicine is a multidisciplinary clinic providing expertise in effective diagnosis, comprehensive injury management, and return to peak performance. Our clinical staff includes highly trained Sport Medicine Physicians, Physiotherapists, Chiropractors, Athletic Therapists, Massage Therapists, Dieticians, and Strength and Conditioning Specialists. In addition to the clinical setting, ISM Physicians and Therapists provide medical coverage for the Calgary Roughnecks (NLL), Calgary Hitmen (WHL), Calgary Surge (CEBL), and Cavalry FC (CPL).
At Innovative Sport Medicine, we pride ourselves in the collaborative care model we have developed. Clinicians of various disciplines work together to see patients through their injury journey. We have a spacious clinic that offers a dedicated gym and rehabilitation area. We also have a large referral base from physicians and physiotherapists throughout the Calgary area.
**Duties**
The strength and conditioning specialist will work collaboratively with the clinic’s multidisciplinary team to help our patients reach their rehabilitation and fitness goals. This includes, but is not limited to, the planning, design, and implementation of rehabilitation programs.
**Experience**
**Qualifications**
- Strong knowledge base of strength and conditioning in a rehabilitation setting
- Exceptional communication with patients and team members
- Self-motivated and committed to an excellent patient experience
- Strong work ethic and organizational skills
- Positive energy and passionate about contributing to a collaborative work environment
**Education and Experience**
- Undergraduate degree in Kinesiology, Human Kinetics, or other related field
- Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (NSCA)
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a strength and conditioning coach
- Masters degree in sport science or sport performance discipline preferred
- Certified in standard First Aid/CPR
- Experience working in a multi-disciplinary team
- CSEP-CEP considered an asset
- Experience with high level athletes and/or teams considered an asset
**Education**:
- Master's Degree (preferred)
**Experience**:
