Perfect for university, college or high school students - we are looking for a receptionist to join our team During the week, the shifts would be Wednesdays (4p-8p) in addition to every other weekend (7a-3p).

Reporting to the Staffing Coordinator, the Receptionist will provide the initial face-to-face and telephone contact with visitors, residents and families. The receptionist is responsible for covering employee sick call ins as well as other scheduling needs.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Greet visitors; determine purpose of visit and direct visitor, inform staff;
- Answer telephone and respond to queries or direct to appropriate staff;
- Schedule staff to cover sick calls and other shifts following a collective agreement;
- Complete clerical work including filing and photocopying;
- Perform daily use of the computer including Internet Explorer, Word, Excel and Outlook;
- Maintains personal accountability for completion of daily tasks as assigned;
- Promote a positive working environment;
- Fosters positive customer service with residents and families;
- Interaction with the public, residents, families and staff on a regular basis.

**Qualifications**
- Minimum two years customer service experience;
- One year minimum of office experience preferred;
- Medical office experience an asset;
- Attending or Completed Ontario Secondary School Diploma or equivalent;
- Excellent communication skills including telephone etiquette;
- Scheduling experience preferred;
- Have three doses of the COVID-19 vaccine.

**Salary**: $17.00 per hour
