Towmotor Driver

We, at Leggett & Platt Inc., are searching for a Towmotor Driver for the receiving Department within our Northfield Metal Products team to help support our Work Furniture business. In our Furniture Components business, we design, manufacture, and distribute a wide range of components and finished products that enhance comfort, motion, and style in the work and home furniture industry. From surface-critical bent tube assemblies and molded plywood components to chair mechanisms, bases, arms, seats, and backs, our Furniture Components business brings diverse world-class manufacturing capabilities together in the production and assembly of high-quality products. As a Towmotor Driver you will have the opportunity to support the receiving department. Your contributions will have a direct impact on the business by supporting our operations. The team you will be working with has a long tenure and values collaboration

**So, what will you be doing as a Towmotor Driver?**
- Operating a towmotor for various work
- Must be computer literate to support all functions and paperwork relating to receiving
- Operate cranes safely for operational needs
- Operating a scale in a safe and proper manner
- Follow all safety rules, guidelines and uses appropriate PPE. Raises potential safety hazards to others

**To be successful in this role, you’ll need**:

- College Diploma in related field
- Experience with forklift driving and a valid license
- Experience operating an overhead crane
