Maintenance Attendant

**About the Role**:
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Maintenance Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be primarily responsible for performing routine building maintenance, minor repairs, and comprehensive janitorial tasks. You will ensure our residential buildings remain safe, functional, and aesthetically pleasing for all residents and team members. This position is hands-on, requiring a proactive approach to upkeep, a strong focus on customer service, and dedication to maintaining our high standards across the property and grounds.

**What You'll Do**:
You will be contributing to creating exceptional living experiences for our residents every day by taking ownership of the following key areas:

- Assisting the Superintendent with routine maintenance and completing work orders.
- Conducting regular building inspections and report any deficiencies to management.
- Monitoring and maintaining building systems and equipment, escalating issues as needed.
- Assisting with snow removal, salting, and other seasonal upkeep (as needed).
- Helping coordinate access for contractors and service providers.
- Collecting and disposing of garbage, recycling, and bulk items according to building procedures.
- Maintaining the cleanliness of exterior property areas such as walkways, parking lots, and grounds.
- Maintaining cleanliness of mechanical rooms and other assigned internal areas.
- Assisting with suite turnovers to ensure units are immaculate and move-in ready.
- Maintaining a positive and approachable demeanor with residents and visitors.Supporting a safe, welcoming, and respectful community environment.

**Who You Are**:
You are a customer-focused team member who reflects our core values of operational excellence and customer obsession:

- Possesses strong customer service skills and a positive attitude when interacting with team members and residents.
- Demonstrates excellent communication skills (both verbal and written).
- Comfortable with physical tasks such as lifting, stretching, reaching, crouching, kneeling, pushing, pulling, standing, bending and walking for extended periods.
- Prior maintenance experience is an asset.Experience with property management software like Yardi is an asset.
