Daycare Volunteer

Mother Earth Childcare Centre is looking for individuals looking to gain childcare experience before or during their ECE program. **We are looking for volunteer **supports to be an extra support in the Infant or Preschool room

**(our toddler room already has volunteers and students).**

**THE WAGE DISPLAYED WOULD BE FOR A PAID POSITION - IF OFFERED AFTER VOLUNTEERING EXPERIENCE.**

This is a great opportunity for someone interested in the field, but needing experience before jumping in.

We would provide staff training, a detailed orientation and side by side mentorship. After a few months in the volunteer role, the individual will have the option to join into an apprenticeship ECE wth MECC and Conestoga College.

The individual would take part in all Professional development offered to our staff and would take part in all staff meetings and employer paid training sessions.

**Job Types**: Casual, Freelance

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 10 per week
