Title: Child and youth facilitator / Community Intervener the Courage Centre inc.

Location: Shediac

Role: As the child and youth intervener, you will work with your team members to deliver the evidence-based SNAP program for children in the Shediac region as well as provide support to children and youth clients of the Courage Centre. Number of positions: 1, Full-Time

**Qualifications**:

- A University degree or college diploma in Social sciences, Social Work, Psychology, Child and Youth Care or a related discipline.
- Exceptional communication skills, both orally and in writing in both official languages (French and English) is mandatory.
- Experience working with children, adolescents, families and groups, and familiarity with associated systems (schools, community agencies) would be an asset.
- Strong organizational skills and details oriented.
- Proficient with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and videoconferencing systems, such as Zoom, Webex and\or Microsoft Teams.
- Ability to work in a highly distractible environment, to multitask and be sensitive to the uniqueness and demands of a non-profit agency.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
- Ability to work in a respectful manner with individuals from diverse backgrounds and experiences.
- Current and valid Criminal Record and Vulnerable Sector Check.
- Must be legally able to work in Canada.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Delivers children’s mental health group interventions
- Facilitates group programs
- Actively participates in case management process for clients including case management activities and case review meetings
- Maintain client records
- May provide supervision to interns, students and/or volunteer

**Salary and Conditions**
- The salary is negotiable based on experience.

- Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle.
- This position involves some evenings for direct group delivery of the children’s program.
