Janitorial Cleaner

**_At ServiceMaster Clean _**we provide our commercial cleaning services to all types of buildings including offices, corporate headquarters, healthcare facilities, schools, industrial facilities, research facilities, retail stores, distribution centers and even large sports and entertainment complexes.

We require full and part-time cleaners for locations across the Region.

With COVID 19 a large part of employers concerns we are always gaining new clients that require janitorial services at their facilities.

**Duties**:

- Clean and supply designated building areas (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents, restroom cleaning etc)
- Perform and document routine inspection and maintenance activities
- Carry out heavy cleansing tasks and special projects
- Notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs
- Stock and maintain supply rooms
- Cooperate with the rest of the staff
- Follow all health and safety regulations

**Qualifications and Knowledge Requirements**:

- Ability to perform heavy duty cleaning tasks from verbal instructions and demonstrations
- Comfortable working in environment with stairs
- Ability to maintain co-operative working relationship with a team
- A self-starter able to work with mínimal supervision
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Applicant may require police clearance for access to certain sites
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
- Familiarity with Safety Data Sheets

**Safety Shoes are Required**

**G Class Drivers License**

**Criminal Investigation Report may be requested due to client request.**
