**Overview**

**Experience and Skill Set Requirements**

**Technical**:

- Strong experience leading scrum teams; familiar with Jira, Azure DevOps, and related tools to facilitate daily stand-ups.
- Knowledge, understanding, and experience with established Project Management Methodologies and techniques related to all phases of the IT project lifecycle.
- Knowledge and understanding of Information Management principles, concepts, policies, and practices, including SDLC, Enterprise Architecture, PMI/PMBOK, UPM, ITIL, Agile, and Waterfall methodologies.
- Knowledge of technology trends, standards, processes, and strategies to resolve analysis and design challenges, define project scope, ensure project compliance and system integration, and meet critical business objectives.

**Project Management**:

- Leads large-scale, complex, high-profile, and high-risk IT projects, particularly in security, across all phases.
- Develops and manages project schedules, integrated plans, scope, and other deliverables.
- Manages large project budgets and ensures a high level of fiscal control and accountability, including estimates, forecasts, and reconciliation/confirmation of actuals.
- Promotes I&IT standards and best practices for project management to ensure system quality, adherence to standard methodologies, and efficient use of I&IT resources.
- Supervises project and consultant staff.
- Analyzes project environments to identify potential risk events and issues, articulating and prioritizing recommended mitigation strategies.
- Creates business cases and secures approval from all stakeholders.
- Leads the team through governance and Treasury Board approvals.

**Leadership & Communication (15%)**:

- Plans and leads all phases of complex enterprise-wide projects, scheduling activities, explaining procedures, and monitoring the work of assigned technical resources.
- Leads change management initiatives and leverages strategies to overcome resistance.
- Manages and builds effective client relationships by managing expectations and providing regular status updates.
- Demonstrates knowledge and experience in resource management, supervision, and providing leadership and guidance to project teams.
- Possesses strong consultation, negotiation, and mediation skills to communicate project deliverables, resolve conflicts, and sustain effective working relationships.
- Provides project, program, and/or portfolio reporting to multi-stakeholders at senior executive levels.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for designing, developing, and delivering presentations, and preparing proposals and business cases for clients, stakeholders, and senior management.
- Manages project budgets and communicates project status to senior management.

Pay: $90.00-$95.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 36 per week
