The management at **BC’s Best Raw Pet Food**, is looking for a reliable, self driven
employee for **Production Co-Ordinator**
The Production Co-Ordinator must have;
- excellent communication skills, will be required to communicate remotely with
Operations Manager
- integrity, honesty and reliability to ensure the needs and quality of the business
are upheld
- problem solving skills, troubleshooting on the fly, able to take control of the
situation and ensure the quality of the product is top priority
- commitment to the brand
Other tasks:
Relief driver to Vancouver for deliveries to stores (monthly)
Delivery of product and pick-up of locally produced ingredients within the
Thompson/Shuswap/Okanagan
Unloading and organizing locally produced ingredients for processing
Weighing and Grinding meat and vegetables as per formulation
Using sausage stuffer to make sausage out of meat and vegetable mixture and place on racks for freezing.
Using bandsaw to cut frozen sausages into pucks for packaging.
Overseeing plant cleaning and organization and tracking inventory on products and
supplies
Loading truck for deliveries
Equipment Used:
- Biro Meat Grinder
- Sheerline Sausage Maker
- Butcher Boy Meat Saw
- One Ton Truck with Cube Van
Qualifications:
Must be physically fit, able to lift 40 lb boxes and able to operate equipment
Experience in meat or food processing plant would be an asset but is not necessary
Training will be provided
Plant is located at Holmwood Farm 30 minutes east of Kamloops
**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 24-30 per week
**Salary**: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
