Finish Skid Steer Operator

DeFord Contracting Inc. is looking for an _experienced and hardworking _**Finish Skid Steer Operator **for Civil Construction city projects in and around the Greater Edmonton Area.

**Responsibilities**:

- Base work, subgrade work, gravel placement
- Gravel placement for sidewalks, parking lots, and foundations
- Backfilling foundations
- Transport various materials and load/unload material safely using skid steer
- Comply with safe working procedures and practices

**Qualifications**:

- 2+ years’ experience - _experience working in civil construction is considered an asset_
- 1+ years’ of final grading experience, including finishing gravel/clay materials within 2 centimeters
- Experience with grades
- Certifications and/or licenses appropriate to industry
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation and a positive attitude

**Experience**:

- Civil Construction: 2 years (preferred)
- final grading abilities: 2 years (preferred)
- Base work, subgrade work, gravel placement: 2 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (preferred)
