We are seeking a Foreman Assistant - Roofing for a full-time, permanent position in Toronto. The majority of this work will be field based. The successful applicant will shadow the Foreman to learn the ins and outs of the job. Roofing experience strongly preferred. The schedule is 7:00am-4:00pm, Monday to Friday.

**Responsibilities**:

- Review work orders for accuracy
- Maintain project inventory and manage availability of materials to ensure daily work targets
- Work closely with the Warehouse Supervisor to order materials
- Schedule work and assign workload
- Advise customer of the approximate start date and provide regular updates
- Conduct regular site visits to manage crews
- Perform final inspections of all worksites
- Verify crew pay sheets
- Manage and arrange pick up of extra material and delivery of shortages to the job site
- Prepare Management reports
- Attend Monthly production meetings

Qualifications:

- 1-3 years work experience in construction.
- ** Must have flat roofing experience.**:

- Skills, Knowledge and Abilities.
- Must be able to do calculations and calculate gross project margins
- Education in Construction Management is an asset
