Middleware Administrator

**Responsibilities include**:

- System administration and configuration tasks for implementations and support
- Monitoring, managing and tuning Middleware technologies
- Troubleshoot (diagnose & resolve) production issues

**o Technical Skill Experience**:
**Mandatory**
- 5 years - Problem determination & resolving middleware technical support issues

**Working experience deploying and administering the following technologies**:

- WebSphere Application Server on Unix
- IBM MQ
- IBM Integration Bus (IIB) or IBM Application Connect Enterprise
- Weblogic 12c and above
- Liferay DXP Portal or other enterprise portal servers

**Highly Desirable**
- SAP Business Objects BI () 4.2 and higher
- SAP Business Objects DS (Data Services) 4.2 and higher
- MOVEit Central
- Knowledge of the Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) concepts
- Experience with monitoring and alerting tools (especially Dynatrace or Compuware)
- Experience with performance tuning WebSphere
- Working knowledge of SSL certificate management
- Knowledge of Web or J2EE Application Servers (Apache Tomcat, JRun,.Net infrastructure)

**Nice To Have**
- Deploying and administering Apache Tomcat
- Experience in version control tools (PVCS, SVN or CVS)
- Familiarity with Java development and technologies such as JSPs and Servlets
- A good understanding of network principles such as load balancing, firewalls etc.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months

**Salary**: $70.00-$90.00 per hour

- Toronto, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
